The purpose of our Call to Entry Juried Art Show is to highlight and celebrate the diverse, artistic talents of the Central Illinois art community. Each year, we invite local artists, 16 years of age or older, to submit works that will be juried by the Library's Art Committee. The selected pieces are displayed in a show here at the Library. An Opening Reception takes place to celebrate the hard work and talent of the artists. It is at the Opening Reception where the winners of five awards - Best in Show, Chatham Area Chamber Award, Library Trustee Award, Friends of the Library Award, & Library Foundation Award - are announced.
To participate, simply fill out an application and submit digital files of your artwork along with a $10 per piece entry fee.
