Don’t miss the Illinois Terminal train to Irwin’s Park.  The ticket has been locked up at the Chatham Area Public Library in our Unlock Chatham’s History Escape Room.  From April 22 – 27, groups of two to six people can  participate in a Local History-themed escape room. An escape room is a real-life, physical space where a group of players search for clues and then solve puzzles and riddles in an attempt to break out of the room. In our case, you will be trying to unlock a box to get your ticket .

While the room is inspired by events that happened in Chatham’s past, participants do not need to have knowledge of Chatham’s history to escape the room (or unlock the box).  As participants, you are solving a number of puzzles in 45 minutes to retrieve the train ticket from a locked box so you don’t miss the train to Irwin’s Park to go dancing with friends and relatives.

Each group MUST sign up for time slots in person or by phone.  Ages from tweens to adults can sign up. One participants has to be 15 years of age or older.

For tweens and up.

Min: 2 people Max: 6 people per session.

Registration is required in person or over the phone.
