We are thrilled to announce a major modernization project designed to upgrade our building and better serve our community.
Starting August 17, 2026, we will begin essential improvements to replace aging infrastructure, including roof repairs, upgraded clerestory windows, new rooftop HVAC unit, and removal and installation of the leaking exterior wall cladding system. The final step will be to repair water damaged interior elements. This project will ensure our library remains a comfortable and vibrant space for everyone for years to come.
The library plans to remain open throughout the construction process. While we are working hard to minimize disruptions, some areas may be temporarily closed, and our service desks, including the circulation desk, will move to new temporary spots inside the building. We appreciate your patience and support as we build a better library experience.
