Our Home Delivery Service provides free delivery of library materials to residents of the Chatham Area Public Library District who cannot visit the Library due to age, illness, or disability.
If you or someone you know could benefit, complete a Home Delivery Enrollment Form or contact us at 217‑483‑2713 or circulation@chathamlib.org.
How It Works
- Delivery can be short‑term or long‑term, based on your needs.
- Any item that can be checked out may be requested. Extra checkout time is provided.
- You may request specific titles or have staff select items based on your interests.
- Materials are delivered to your door by a Friends of the Library volunteer.
- You and your volunteer choose a convenient delivery and pickup time.
Eligibility
- You must live within the Chatham Area Public Library District.
- Call the Library at 217-483-2713 or check your voter registration card to confirm your district.
- If you live in another library district, contact your home library to learn about their delivery options.
